Modifikasi Harley-Davidson Pro-Street
Nama Choppalicious bisa diartikan sebagai nilai estetika dan ridiable. Diambil dari dua hal yang bersinergi, yakni chopper dan delicious. Chopper jelas langkah nge-chop, menjadikan motor lebih ringan dan simple jadi tujuan. Estetika dan egosentris dari sang builder ditonjolkan. Disisi lain delicious berkaitan dengan ergonomic pengendaranya. Motor harus tetap nikmat dan nyaman walau ridding ratusan kilometer. "Sulit buat dibicarakan lewat tulisan tapi harus dirasakan langsung. Sampeyan harus mencobanya sendiri baru bisa menilai se "delicious apa motor ini," promosi Lulut "LT" Wahyudi dari RRC (Retroclassic Cycles) yang berani membandingkannya dengan Harley-Davidson (H-D) standar pabrikan.
Konsep ini berawal dari kegelian Lulut yang melihat motor custom naik diatas trailer. Ia kadang berfikir, apa mungkin desainnya gak ridiable? Hanya bagus untuk dilihat atau diduduki pada saat motor diam!!
"Makanya motor gue didesain bukan untuk digendong trailer dan hanya mejeng di event bikers," ujar builder yang doyan ngomong keras ini.
Tujuan itu diterapkan Lulut pada motor milik brother Irwan Adriansyah, Pembalap Road Race asal Jogjakarta yang jam terbangnya balap nya sudah terbilang cukup tinggi. Soal konsep, mereka berdua sama-sama menyukai konsep yang simple pada motor tetapi eksklusif dan berkesan tegas. "Ogah banyak atribut aneh," jelasnya lagi.
Simplisitas bisa dimulai dari tak handle bar model ape hanger. Urusan sasis hardtail, mereka tega mempercayakan pada pembuat lain. "Mulai dari frame softtail, tangki depan sampai detail penunjang performa macam pijakan kaki dibuat di bengkel RCC ini. Itu juga jadi pembuktian lelaku handmade bisa sangat nyaman untuk dikendarai," tegas tim RCC.
Soal "terbang" dijalanan tergantung dari nyali si biker. Mesin model Evolution Side Winder racikan S&S ini mempunyai power yang cukup signifikan, 105,9 dk, bandingkan dengan kekuatan standar yang hanya 61 dk! Intinya, hanya perlu membuat batasan seberani apa sang biker memacu motor ini, tutup sang builder.
